The Bills have not yet announced which games will feature the Nickel City uniforms this season.
The new alternate uniforms are the latest change in Buffalo, as the Bills are also set to play their inaugural season at the new Highmark Stadium, which had its construction completed earlier this offseason.
According to a release, the design of the Nickel City alternates "is a tribute to the strength, grit and authenticity of Western New York's hard-working people throughout history." The all-gray design is inspired by the Buffalo Nickel.
"Since this is essentially an alternate 'color rush' designation, we must use a secondary base color that already exists in our color palette. Gray was the one brand color we've never leaned into, so this was a fun challenge," Aaron La Porta, the Bills director of design, said in the release.
The Bills are hoping to finally break through and win a Super Bowl this season, and the recent changes will provide even more excitement for fans heading into the 2026 campaign.
