Jerry Kelly won the Senior British Open on Sunday at the The King's Gleneagles in Scotland, shooting a 2-under 68 to finish 10 under for the tournament.
He won by a pair of strokes, besting a trio of golfers tied for second at eight under (Matt Gogel, Darren Fichardt, Cameron Percy).

Fichardt nearly created some late drama but missed an eagle attempt on the 18th that by mere inches (though it was somewhat of a moot point after Kelly finished his day with a birdie).
The round of the day belonged to Stephen Gallacher, who shot a tournament-best eight-under 62 on Sunday to surge up the leaderboard, finishing fifth at six under.
The event's purse was a cool $2.85 million. Here were the payouts for the top-10 finishers:

As for Kelly, it was his third major tournament victory on the Senior Tour, joining a pair of victories at the Senior Players Championship (2020, 2022). His previous best mark at the Senior British Open Championship was sixth in 2021.
