Paige Bueckers Hyped for Dominique Malonga's Dunk from 2026 WNBA All-Star Game

Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers lauded Dominique Malonga after the Seattle Storm forward threw down a dunk in Saturday's 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.

Bueckers told reporters that Malonga "makes it look easy," adding she fully understood the 20-year-old's potential after they were teammates in Unrivaled.

As with any All-Star Game, defense was optional at times in Chicago. In the second quarter, Malonga had a wide-open lane to the basket and made the most of it with a right-handed jam.

Malonga was the youngest player in league history to post a double-double (12 points and 13 rebounds) in the All-Star Game.

The Storm have the worst record (6-23) in the WNBA, and they're pretty much out of the playoff race looking at the rest of the season.

Malonga is a big reason why fans in the Pacific Northwest are nonetheless excited by what they're watching.

Heading into the 2025 draft, the French standout was described as a special kind of prospect who could help to shape the entire league moving forward. Midway through her second season, she's on a trajectory to do just that.
