Caitlin Clark Reacts to 'Unique' Experience at Her 1st 'True' WNBA All-Star Game in New Video

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark savored her opportunity to step onto the court in the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game after missing the event a season ago.

Clark opened her post-game press conference by reflecting on how Saturday was "kind of a unique experience" because she hadn't competed in a "true All-Star Game" to this point.

"Obviously last year really stunk and it being in our home city," she told reporters (4:55 mark). "You never want to miss that. You never want to miss that for the fans. I love to show up and get to compete and play. Obviously you only get 20 minutes; sometimes you want to play more.

"This is kind of like a much different feel than a normal basketball game. You're kind of just like a young kid running around out there, having fun and shooting whatever shots and being creative, playing with flow. And I really enjoy that about the game of basketball, so it was really fun for me to get back out there."

Clark had 17 points, four rebounds, five assists and one steal in her 21 minutes of action in Team Spoon's 129-122 win over Team Coop. She fully embraced the exhibition nature of the contest, attempting 15 three-pointers.

While this was the third All-Star nod of Clark's young career, she hadn't gotten to enjoy the full ASG experience.

Ahead of the Summer Olympics, the WNBA had the United States national team compete against a collection of All-Stars in 2024. Clark represented Team WNBA. Then she battled a number of injuries in 2025 that limited her to just 13 appearances.

There are going to be plenty more All-Star honors in Clark's future, and the overall spectacle may start to lose some of its luster in her mind over time. For now, All-Star Weekend was not something she took lightly.
