NFL Announces Super Bowl LXII Date on 2027 Schedule for Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Two years after announcing Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta would host Super Bowl 62, the NFL has revealed the date for the final game of the 2027 season.

The NFL announced on Friday that Super Bowl 62 will be played on Feb. 13, 2028.

It was originally announced in October 2024 that Atlanta would host Super Bowl 62.

This will be the first time Atlanta has served as the host site for the NFL's premiere game since Super Bowl 53 when the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 on Feb. 3, 2019.

It will be the fourth time overall the NFL has held the Super Bowl in Atlanta, tied with Phoenix for the fifth-most all-time.

The Feb. 13 date will be the second-latest for a Super Bowl, behind only Super Bowl 61 after this upcoming regular season that will be played on Feb. 14.
