Panthers Reveal Photo Renderings for New $1.3B Bank of America Stadium
The Carolina Panthers shared new renderings of their planned renovations to Bank of America Stadium.
The franchise also announced Bank of America extended its naming rights deal.
"For over three decades, Bank of America Stadium has helped create lasting memories for our fans and we're excited for them to see what's ahead," Panthers owner David Tepper said. "Our goal is to create experiences that enhance the passion and energy of the region while transforming this corridor into a weekend destination for world-class sports, entertainment and community events."

In June 2024, the Charlotte City Council approved earmarking $650 million in public funds toward the renovations. The overall cost of the project is estimated at $1.3 billion.
The price tag speaks to the scale of the changes to a venue that first opened in 1996. The Panthers said Thursday that "every inch of the stadium is being reimagined":
"New renderings showcase expanded indoor-outdoor gathering spaces across all levels, a 500-level social patio with sweeping views of Uptown Charlotte, larger and more dynamic scoreboards and displays, upgraded seating options, premium offerings, and technology designed to create a more connected and personalized experience. The renderings also reveal an elevated vision for the stadium exterior, with upgraded materials and a signature illuminated crown for the Queen City skyline."
The Panthers also provided renderings of the new 4,400-seat event space that will be built next to Bank of America Stadium. The team envisions staging between 80 to 100 events each year.
Renovation work will begin on the interior of the stadium this year, with more extensive construction to follow in 2027.
Bank of America Stadium is expected to continue hosting games for both the Panthers and MLS' Charlotte FC as the remodel unfolds.
