Fantasy Football 2026 Early Mock Draft and Rankings Before Training Camps

While not every training camp has opened yet, veterans for all 32 teams will be in camp by the end of the month. The start of the NFL preseason is right around the corner, too, as the Arizona Cardinals and the Carolina Panthers will face off in the Hall of Fame Game on August 6.

All of this means, of course, that it's time to start prepping for fantasy football drafts.

Here, you'll find an early point-per-reception (PPR) mock draft, positional PPR rankings, and a few sleepers to consider in 2026.

Sleeper: Bo Nix, Denver Broncos

According to FantasyPros, Bo Nix has an average draft position (ADP) of just 135, meaning he's being valued, at best, as a low-end starter in most larger leagues. However, the Denver Broncos' signal-caller is probably being undervalued.

The fact that Nix is recovering from a fractured ankle can't be ignored. However, neither can the fact that he finished as QB7 last season.

The Oregon product isn't an elite dual-threat, but he provides rushing value (356 yards, 5 TDs in 2025) and has an improved supporting cast. Denver's trade to add Jaylen Waddle before the draft should only further boost his value in 2026.

Managers who like to wait on their quarterbacks in fantasy drafts should circle Nix in the middle rounds.

Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks

Sleeper: Jonathon Brooks, Carolina Panthers

To be fair, Jonathon Brooks is very much a boom-or-bust option this year. The Carolina Panthers selected the Texas product in the second round of the 2024 draft, but have only had him on the field for three games and 12 touches.

Brooks missed much of his rookie season while recovering from a torn ACL, then re-tore the same ACL after limited playing time. He then missed all of 2025 while recovering from the second injury.

However, Brooks is now healthy and set to share the backfield with veteran starter Chuba Hubbard.

"I'll be an asset to him in every way possible I can be," Hubbard said, per Kassidy Hill of the team's official website. "He's a great player, and I'm excited for him this year."

A year ago, Rico Dowdle split time with Hubbard and finished the year as RB18. Brooks has an ADP of 161.

Sleeper: Dontayvion Wicks, Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles traded A.J. Brown to the New England Patriots, and someone will have to replace Brown in Philly's offense. Most expect it to be rookie first-round pick Makai Lemon, though the USC product has a skill set better suited for the slot than the perimeter.

While Lemon is likely to play a significant role as a rookie, trade acquisition Dontayvion Wicks may actually be the primary perimeter starter opposite DeVonta Smith. If so, the 6'1", 206-pound pass-catcher could be in store for a career year.

Wicks' previous best campaign came as a rookie with the Green Bay Packers in 2023, a season he finished with 581 yards and four touchdowns. He should top those numbers if he's a full-time starter in Philly—and, given the trade and extension the Eagles have invested in him, he should be.

Wicks is a deep sleeper worth considering at the back end of deeper drafts.

Sleeper: Chigoziem Okonkwo, Washington Commanders

Tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo was a solid streaming option last season, even in a bad Tennessee Titans offense. While he only finished as TE21 in fantasy, he led the Titans with 56 catches and 560 receiving yards.

Theoretically, Okonkwo will be in a better situation as the Washington Commanders' starting tight end this season. Washington will need quarterback Jayden Daniels to stay healthy, of course, but Okonkwo could quickly become Daniels' No. 2 target behind Terry McLaurin.

Two years ago, when Zach Ertz was healthy for the Commanders, he was a go-to option for Daniels and finished as TE7.

Okonkwo should be considered a strong streamer with starter upside entering training camp. With an ADP of 152, he should be available late.
