Bucs Announce Return of White Creamsicle Uniforms for 2026 NFL Season with Baker Mayfield Video

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' use of their iconic white creamsicle uniforms last year in celebration of the franchise's 50th season proved so popular they are bringing them back in 2026.

In a video on X featuring Baker Mayfield, the Bucs announced they are bringing back the white creamsicle look for the upcoming season.

Per Scott Smith of the team's official website, the Buccaneers will wear the throwback uniforms for their Week 13 home game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Bucs used their original look from the 1976 season for three games last season, including the home opener against the New York Jets. It was the first time since their inaugural campaign they wore that uniform.

Tampa also used the creamsicles against the Seattle Seahawks and on Thursday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15. The Buccaneers went 2-1 in those three games, with the lone defeat against Atlanta.

Their original white creamsicle uniforms only lasted for one year. They changed the color of the numbers on the jersey from orange to red for the 1977 season.

The Buccaneers went to the red and white uniform combination starting with the 1997 season. Those have been their primary colors for the past 29 years, though they have incorporated the orange creamsicle top as an alternate at various times.
