2026 WNBA All-Star 3-Point Contest, Skills Competition Participants Revealed
The participants for the 2026 WNBA 3-Point Contest during the upcoming All-Star festivities were revealed on Tuesday.
Portland Fire forward Bridget Carleton, Dallas Wings guard Azzi Fudd, Seattle Storm guard Natisha Hiedeman, Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard, Golden State Valkyries forward Janelle Salaün and Toronto Tempo guard Marina Mabrey will all be competing in the event.
New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu, who has won the contest in two of the past three years, wasn't part of the 2026 field.
Ionescu, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark and Minnesota Lynx star Kayla McBride were all invited to appear in the 2026 3-Point Contest before declining, per ESPN's Alexa Philippou.
As for the current participants, Mabrey is a strong contender to emerge victorious.
Her 82 three-pointers are the most among all WNBA players this season and she's remained efficient despite the high volume. Mabrey has connected on 39.2 percent of her triples in 2026.
Meanwhile, Fudd has showcased her long-range accuracy after she was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA draft. The former UConn standout is shooting 38.8 percent from behind the arc while attempting 5.2 threes per game.
Salaün owns the highest three-point percentage among this year's participants, hitting 39.4 percent of her triples off the bench for Golden State.
Carleton is shooting 38.2 percent from behind the arc this season, while Hiedeman is connecting on 35.2 percent of her threes.
Howard hasn't been afraid to fire away triples for the Dream in 2026, attempting 8.9 three-pointers per game and shooting 35.4 percent on them.
The 2026 WNBA 3-Point Contest will begin on Friday at 8 p.m. ET.
