Seahawks' HBO 'Hard Knocks' Trailer, New Start Date Revealed for Training Camp After Super Bowl Win

HBO's Hard Knocks is set to give fans a look at how the Seattle Seahawks are preparing to defend their Super Bowl LX title.

A new trailer Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Seattle Seahawks provided a first look at the team's offseason ahead of the July 25 start of training camp.

The latest Hard Knocks series will premiere Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max.

The new start date moved the program's debut up one week. The five-episode series narrated by Liev Schreiber will continue premiering each Tuesday through Sept. 1, according to HBO.

This marks the first time since the first Hard Rocks season in 2001 the program has focused on a defending Super Bowl champion, per HBO.

The series will also mark the first time Seahawks training camp has been featured on the program, which most recently featured the training camps of the Chicago Bears in 2024 and Buffalo Bills in 2025.

The Seahawks are bringing back quarterback Sam Darnold and newly-extended wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but could be missing star running back Zach Charbonnet amid his recovery from ACL surgery.

Whether 2026 first-round pick Jadarian Price can step up as a starter in Charbonnet's potential offseason will be one training camp narrative to watch, as will battles at positions including right guard and backup quarterback.

Seahawks rookies are set to report to camp July 27 before veteran players arrive July 24. The 2026 edition of the series will join the Seahawks as training camp runs through Aug. 13 in Renton, Washington.

The Seahawks are scheduled to play their lone home game of the preseason against the visiting Dallas Cowboys on Aug. 15.

The team is then headed to Nashville for a joint practice with the Tennessee Titans on Aug. 21 before facing them in a road preseason game on Aug. 23.

The defending Super Bowl champs will then wrap up the preseason Aug. 28 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Hard Knocks finale is set to air eight days before the Seahawks open the regular season with a Super Bowl rematch against the visiting New England Patriots on Sept. 9.
