NASCAR In-Season Tournament Bracket 2026 Updated Point Standings After North Carolina

Joey Logano earned his first win of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Sunday night.

Logano's win was just one of the many good results for Team Penske on Sunday.

Ryan Blaney, Logano's Penske teammate, advanced to the final of the NASCAR In-Season Challenge.

Todd Gilliland was the other driver to advance out of the semifinals. The best finish between Gilliland and Blaney next Sunday at Indianapolis captures the In-Season Challenge title.

In-Season Challenge Results

No. 25 Todd Gilliland def. No. 4 Chase Elliott

No. 3 Ryan Blaney def. No. 10 Christopher Bell

Logano had the most dominant car on the North Carolina short track.

The driver of the No. 22 car led 323 of the 450 laps raced at North Wilkesboro.

Logano beat out Denny Hamlin for the win. The two veteran drivers went at it over the final 50 laps, but Logano never gave up his advantage.

Logano and Hamlin were two of six drivers to finish on the lead lap. Chase Briscoe, Ty Gibbs, Shane Van Gisbergen and Bubba Wallace were the others.

Todd Gilliland and Ryan Blaney used top-11 finishes to move on in the In-Season Challenge bracket.

Gilliland finished in eighth place to pull off yet another upset as the No. 25 seed. He eliminated Chase Elliott, who finished 17th.

Blaney took 11th place in his No. 12 car. He ended up eight places ahead of his semifinal foe Christopher Bell.

Gilliland and Blaney will duel next Sunday at Indianapolis. The racer with the higher finish takes home the $1 million.

The rest of the Cup Series field will be gearing up for the postseason. Only five races remain until the start of The Chase. A handful of drivers, including Logano, need to pick up more points to confirm spots in the 16-driver playoff field.
