Angel Reese Final Box Score Stats, Highlights in Win vs. Sky as Dream Star Exits With Injury

Angel Reese is 2-0 against the Chicago Sky since being traded this offseason.

Reese and the Atlanta Dream beat her former team 93-91 on Sunday, though the star forward exited early because of an injury.

Reese finished with eight points, five rebounds, a steal and a block in 20 minutes. She exited the game early in the fourth quarter after making an awkward step while going up for a layup.

With Reese out down the stretch, Allisha Gray led the way for Atlanta, posting 29 points and six boards. Madina Okot also added 14 points off the bench.

Chicago was dealing with a key injury of its own, as Skylar Diggins missed Sunday's contest because of a lingering right knee injury.

The good news for Reese and the Dream is that they'll have the next 10 days off for the All-Star break, giving her plenty of time to recover from whatever injury she suffered on Sunday.

With the win, the Dream moved to 16-10 on the season, and they're currently sitting in fifth place in the WNBA standings.

While Reese had to exit early, it still probably feels good to come out on top against the Sky after the way things transpired this offseason. Reese will get one more chance to face her former team this season in September.
