Shedeur Sanders Explains Why It Was 'Extremely Important' to Work Out With Browns Players in Miami
Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders says he felt it was "extremely important" to spend time with teammates while co-hosting a passing camp with Deshaun Watson last week in Miami.
"I think it was extremely important, for us as a group, for whoever was available to come down to Miami," Sanders said (h/t Scott Petrak of The Chronicle-Telegram).
"For those that came, it was truly amazing, and we felt a different type of bond there. Just outside the facility, outside of these things... it's exciting. You create these real memories, these real bonds, and it's irreplaceable."

Attendees at the passing camp included Browns wide receivers Jerry Jeudy, Isaiah Bond, Cedric Tillman, K.C. Concepcion, Denzel Boston and Jamari Thrash as well as running back Dylan Sampson, per Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com.
The Browns have yet to name a starting quarterback between Sanders, the incumbent QB1, and Watson, who is looking to make his comeback after a season and a half away from the NFL.
Sanders and Watson could hope the chemistry gained with their offensive teammates will help them continue competing for the QB1 job when Browns training camp begins July 31 in Berea.
