What is next for Danhausen after a show-stopping performance alongside New York Knicks center/forward Karl-Anthony Towns on WWE Saturday Night's Main Event from the historic Madison Square Garden?

It is a question facing him and several others who appeared on the broadcast, including NBA champion Jalen Brunson, who shared the ring with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in the show-closing segment.

The very nice, very evil Superstar may have won the battle against The Judgment Day Saturday night in New York City, but the heels have rarely accepted defeat and moved on.

As a result, expect Danhausen to stay busy with JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio in the remaining build to SummerSlam.

With Dirty Dom being the first Superstar whom Danhausen cursed upon his arrival in WWE, it makes sense that six months later, the AAA Mega champion looks to end his group's feud with the face-painted babyface in Minneapolis.

A huge star, who has seen his prominence rise in recent months, it is only fitting that Danhausen is involved in one of the bigger shows of the year.

CM Punk and Cody Rhodes

CM Punk and Cody Rhodes may have preserved their SummerSlam main event for the Undisputed WWE Championship by way of their win over Gunther and Sami Zayn in Saturday's main event tag match, but expect their relationship to deteriorate in the coming weeks.

We witnessed it Friday on SmackDown and again on Saturday night, but the competitive drive and desire to be the top star and champion will ultimately cost them their friendship.

Tension was evident Saturday night, never more so than after their victory, when Punk accidentally caught Rhodes with the strap of the WWE Championship. Dismayed by it and likely feeling it was another sign of disrespect, Rhodes confronted his SummerSlam opponent in a tense backstage confrontation.

With pressure mounting and the title bout drawing near, expect to see Punk and Rhodes' friendship go out the window as their competitive drive takes over, leading to an all out physical confrontation before the August 1 and 2 premium live event.

Sami Zayn

No Superstar's path to Minneapolis and SummerSlam is cloudier and more uncertain than Sami Zayn's.

He reinvented himself as the Last Real Good Guy, won the Undisputed WWE Championship that had eluded him, lost it nine days later, and has remained in the main event scene.

Yet, with Punk and Rhodes slated for a match-up, and Gunther almost certainly squaring off with Nick Aldis in the SmackDown general manager's return to the squared circle, it leaves Zayn as the odd man out of the summertime spectacular.

Sure, WWE Creative could find something for him to do, but based on his stature and placement on the card, it would feel like a considerable step down and a potential momentum killer for a guy who once again overcame the odds, made a bigger star out of himself, but now appears poised to miss out on a meaningful role at a signature, premium live event.

Is Bayley done with WWE?

It is a fair question to ask given the manner in which her Saturday Night's Main Event match with Lyra Valkyria went.

The Role Model was choked unconscious, then beaten down in an angle designed to showcase her newly heel opponent. Left sprawled out over the ring steps following a Nightwing, the future Hall of Famer appeared to be giving her all to put one last peer over as her contract with WWE comes up for renewal.

While some are pronouncing Bayley as good as gone to All Elite Wrestling, where best friend Mercedes Mone is in the midst of an extraordinary run, that may not be the case.

After all, for the feud to escalate, Bayley needs something to come back from, and an injury angle at the hands of her former tag team partner-turned-hated rival is just that.

Do not be surprised if Bayley pops back up on Raw in the comng weeks, seeking revenge for the assault that threatened her career, her rivalry with Valkyria intensified.

Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton

NBA superstars Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton may not compete in a WWE ring anytime soon, as both recover from injury, but that does not mean it will never happen.

They have a history as rivals on the court and in WWE, where they have confronted each other multiple times, teasing potential involvement in a big angle or match-up down the line.

A tag team match would be the most likely, and the seeds were certainly planted Saturday night in the show-closing angle involving Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, where Haliburton provided a distraction that allowed the former to attack the OTC.

With their NBA rivalry now serving as cannon in the WWE Universe, it is only a matter of time before they stand on opposite sides of the squared circle and bring their competitive natures from the hardwood to the canvas.
