Angel Posts Monster Double-Double 😤
Both teams shot at a blistering rate from beyond the arc—the Fever were 14-of-28 from three (50 percent), while the Liberty were 13-of-32 (41 percent)—but New York was dreadful at the charity stripe, missing 10 free throws (15-of-25).
The Fever also got far more impact from their bench, with Indiana's reserves outscoring the Liberty's second unit by a massive 31-16 margin.
As for Clark, it wasn't her cleanest offensive performance, as she shot just 5-of-14 from the field (2-of-8 from three) and had seven turnovers. But her playmaking and some timely shots in the fourth quarter made up for it.
Mitchell's scintillating offensive showing also picked up any slack from Clark's shooting struggles earlier in the game.
The Fever moved to 16-10 with the win and hit the 100-point mark for the 10th time this season. New York dropped to 13-12, meanwhile, and have now lost four straight games and eight of their last 11. The Liberty have been streaky, winning eight straight games before their struggles in the second half of June and July.
