Trevor Lawrence, Kevin Byard Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings

After a resurgent 2025 season, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has regained the respect of his peers.

Lawrence was ranked No. 62 in the 2026 NFL Top 100 after being excluded from last year's list.

Veteran safety Kevin Byard, who is now signed to the New England Patriots after starring for the Chicago Bears the last two seasons, was ranked No. 61:

Lawrence was limited to just 10 games in 2024 due to a shoulder injury and a concussion, so his exclusion from the 2025 NFL Top 100 was understandable.

After the Jags hired Liam Coen as head coach ahead of the 2025 season, many expected Lawrence to bounce back in a big way, and he delivered.

The 26-year-old started all 17 games and led Jacksonville to a 13-4 record to win the AFC South title. He threw for 4,007 yards, a career-high 29 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while also adding career highs of 359 rushing yards and nine rushing scores. He broke the franchise record for the most total touchdowns in a single season.

The No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL draft, Lawrence entered the league facing lofty expectations as a potential generational quarterback talent. As he enters his sixth season, he has the chance to firmly establish himself as one of the elite signal-callers in the league.

Byard started all 17 games for the second straight year in 2025, helping the Bears win the NFC North title for the first time since 2018 with an 11-6 record. He produced 93 total tackles, eight passes defended and a league-leading seven interceptions on his way to earning his third career Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro selections.

Byard will now be bringing his talents to a Patriots team that ranked in the bottom half of the league with just 10 interceptions last year. He's now reunited with head coach Mike Vrabel, who coached him earlier in his career with the Tennessee Titans, so it's safe to expect that he will continue playing at a high level during the upcoming season.
