Tom Brady Wants WWE Match as a Heel and Cody Rhodes Responds in New Video from Fanatics Fest

Tom Brady has plenty to do these days as an analyst and a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, but the NFL legend is open to the idea of exploring a new career path.

Brady said at Fanatics Fest on Thursday that he is waiting for WWE president Nick Khan to give him a call about entering the wrestling world. Brady specifically said he'd like to be a heel in a potential storyline.

"I feel like, I'm retired from football, have the opportunity to go out there and showcase that I'm still a little bit of an athlete. My boy Gronk's done it, I've seen Logan Paul do it. I think I could get in there for at least one match, right?"

Brady obviously has plenty of experience dealing with hostile crowds, and he said his NFL experience would make him a perfect heel in the WWE world.

"It's such an easy choice," Brady said. "I'm a bad guy. I've always been a bad guy. I mean, I feel like when our teams did really well, I would always go into these stadiums and I would feel that... When you go on the road and you've had some success in the NFL, they don't like you. It's an incredible feeling when you work that entire day to basically try to send the crowd home early."

Brady had a run-in with Logan Paul earlier this year when the former quarterback called the WWE "cute" while discussing the Fanatics Flag Football game that Paul played in.

"It's cute. I love WWE. It's very cute," Brady said. "But honestly, this is real football; this is real competition."

Paul then clapped back at Brady, calling the 7-time Super Bowl winner "washed up."

Perhaps the back and forth between Brady and Paul could eventually be a storyline in the WWE, though Paul primarily plays the heel, so Brady might have to take on the role of a hero.

Even though Brady is 48 years old, he's not too far removed from football and is likely still in good shape. A few months of training could get him into good enough form to get into the ring.
