New Predictions for Danhausen and WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 2026 Match Card

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event is back this weekend, but this show is a bit bigger than usual as WWE is returning to one of the most famous arenas in the world: Madison Square Garden.

Only four matches have been announced for Saturday, which seems to be the norm for most two-hour WWE shows these days.

The only title being defended is the Women's Tag Team Championships with Paige and Brie Bella facing Fatal Influence.

Danhausen, CM Punk, Sami Zayn and more are scheduled to appear. Let's go through each match and make some predictions.

Brie Bella and Paige vs. Fatal Influence

Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley get a chance to knock off two veterans and win their first gold on the main roster this weekend.

With Jacy Jayne always lurking at ringside whenever her teammates are in action, Fatal Influence has the advantage.

This match could go either way, but the most interesting outcome would be a title change.

Brie and Paige haven't been a consistent presence on the shows, but Fatal Influence has been all over SmackDown in recent months. Having the group hold the belts while Jayne pursues a singles title makes the most sense.

Prediction: Fatal Influence wins the tag titles.

Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria

Former tag team partners are set to do battle on Saturday when Bayley takes on Lyra Valkyria.

Neither woman has been in action since Valkyria turned on Bayley on June 22, so this will be the first time they have a chance to fight since their breakup.

Bayley is the veteran and Valkyria is the rising star, so there is a lot more for Lyra to gain from a victory.

Her heel turn is just getting started, and having her lose right away would drain all of her momentum, so the best outcome here is for The Valkyrie to defeat her former mentor.

There will likely be rematches down the line because WWE rarely ends a feud after one bout, so The Role Model will have plenty of chances to even the score later.

Prediction: Valkyria wins

Danhausen vs. JD McDonagh

WWE has sunk a lot of time into building Danhausen up, mostly through backstage segments, so it feels like a rare thing to see him booked in a big match.

We're not going to beat around the bush here. Danhausen is not going to suffer his first WWE loss against JD McDonagh, nicknamed "JD McDon'tGoogleMe" by Kevin Owens.

Danhausen will pull some shenanigans to get the win, possibly with Kit Wilson and The Miz. This seems like the easiest prediction we can make.

Prediction: Danhausen wins

CM Punk and Cody Rhodes vs. Sami Zayn and Gunther

CM Punk recently won the Undisputed WWE Championship from Sami Zayn, and he already has Cody Rhodes and Gunther looking for title shots in addition to Zayn hoping for a rematch.

Before any of that can happen, they have to set their differences aside so Punk and Rhodes can team up against Gunther and Zayn.

Punk and Rhodes have a respectful friendship, but Zayn and Gunther have never been on the same page. In fact, they have been bitter rivals at times.

A likely scenario would see The Ring General turning on Zayn and choking him before leaving him for Rhodes and Punk to finish. Their history seems like too much for them to overcome this time.

Prediction: Rhodes and Punk win
