The July 13 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix from the American Airlines Center in Dallas delivered major build for Saturday Night's Main Event and SummerSlam.

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins signed the contract for their SummerSlam main event, while Chad Gable won a Gauntlet match to earn an Intercontinental Championship match against Penta at The Biggest Party of the Summer on August 1 and 2.

Maxxine Dupri betrayed Otis and Akira Tozawa for The Vision, and Solo Sikoa found allies in LA Knight and Royce Keys against The Usos and Jacob Fatu.

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins Set to Deliver Their Greatest Match Together

The story of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins dates back to 2012 when they debuted together as members of The Shield.

They have been connected since nearly day one under WWE contract, and they have fought multiple times for pride and gold.

However, their forthcoming SummerSlam clash feels like it is ushering in the final stage of both men's careers.

Rollins and Reigns are 40 and 41 years old, respectively, and both have suffered significant injuries that could be signaling it is time to wrap it up.

If so, this could serve as a definitive end to the rivalry between these two men and possibly set the stage for a final collaboration in the future.

Given the importance of this contest, Reigns and Rollins are giving their all to sell this as the best match they will ever have together, which is a high bar.

If they can live up to that promise, SummerSlam's main event will be unforgettable.

Time for Alpha Academy's Tag Title Run

Otis and Akira Tozawa just participated in the single biggest segment of their veteran careers, and it could signal that is finally time to give Alpha Academy gold.

The Vision are world tag team champions, but it is a flimsy alliance between Bron Breakker, Austin Theory and Logan Paul.

This would be a perfect time to give a veteran, talented team their due while moving along The Vision to its next logical steps.

Paul Heyman has again confirmed he is done with Breakker and Co. It seems unlikely the group will rally around Maxxine Dupri as a group manager.

Instead, Alpha Academy taking the gold could set up Breakker to walk away and chart his own course going forward.

Dupri can stick with Theory while Alpha Academy finally finds success without relying on Chad Gable.

The Bloodline Name Cannot Sustain This Current Rivalry Alone

The Bloodline may be the single most revered name in wrestling today, even above Roman Reigns individually.

This was the group that took over WWE and carried the company to an impressive high at WrestleMania 40.

The post-40 journey of The Bloodline led to the group's end until WrestleMania 42 where The Usos reunited with The OTC.

Even with Jacob Fatu joining Reigns, this Bloodline does not have the air and excitement around it that once carried WWE as a whole.

In particular, Jey and Jimmy Uso's conflict with Solo Sikoa, LA Knight and Royce Keys does not feel big enough for the six-man tag announced for SummerSlam.

Sikoa and Knight working together, even including the underused Keys, has some intrigue as a fresh potential stable, but WWE has done little to make this feel like more than a 10-minute TV tag.

WWE is heavily relying on the promise of Bloodline drama, but this feels instead like basic tag team wrestling relying upon nostalgia over any genuine chemistry.

WWE Must Stick the Landing with Lyra Valkyria at SNME

Lyra Valkyria's heel transformation is intriguing, but the persona she presented on Raw is not going to translate to the ring.

Saturday Night's Main Event should truly reintroduce The Valkyrie to the WWE Universe, and it is important she comes off as a star.

If this all leaves Valkyria as a less interesting character or someone who cannot beat Bayley after all her disrespect, she might as well have never turned.

However, a good new presentation could seal Valkyria's rise up the card at a time when WWE needs more memorable characters, especially in a talented women's division.

Chad Gable Will Win Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam

The stage is set, and the time is now for Chad Gable to finally win the Intercontinental Championship.

First signed with WWE in November 2013 after competing in the 2012 Summer Olympics, Gable is coming up on 13 years in professional wrestling without a major singles title to his name.

While he briefly held the Men's Speed Championship as El Grande Americano, that belt was never presented on WWE television before it was relegated to NXT.

His true goal is the Intercontinental Championship, and the time is right for Gable to capture the title for the first time.

Penta has given prestige to the IC belt, but his reign has run its course. Gable would now make the most sense to carry the gold out of Minneapolis, where he was born and raised.

The moment could rival or even surpass the other major moments promised for SummerSlam this year.
