Knicks' Jalen Brunson Accepts Roman Reigns' Invite to WWE SNME at MSG Following Rumors
New York Knicks star point guard and 2026 NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson will be returning to Madison Square Garden this weekend, but it won't be for basketball.
Brunson accepted an invite from WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns to attend Saturday Night's Main Event at MSG. A previous report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select stated that WWE had invited several members of the Knicks to the July 18 showcase (h/t Felix Upton of Ringside News).
This won't be the first time that Brunson has graced a WWE ring. The longtime pro wrestling fan took his rivalry with Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton to the squared circle in 2024.
This will be the first Saturday Night's Main Event at MSG since 2007, so adding Brunson to the mix is sure to bring even more excitement to the New York City crowd.
