Giants Reveal 'Slime Fries' in Video for Nickelodeon Day with SpongeBob SquarePants Promotions

The San Francisco Giants introduced "Slime Fries" to their Oracle Park menu for Nickelodeon Day on July 12 in honor of SpongeBob Squarepants.

The first 20,000 fans received a SpongeBob SquarePants Hat and the iconic character threw out the ceremonial first pitch. There were also collectible SpongeBob cups for fans to purchase.

The Giants, unfortunately, have been near the Bikini Bottom of the standings in the NL West this year, going just 40-55. Only the Colorado Rockies (39-58) have been worse in the division.
