
MLB Futures Game 2026 Results, Score, Highlights, Top Prospects and Reaction
The 2026 MLB All-Star Futures Game kicked off All-Star Week on Sunday as the American League Futures defeated the National League Futures, 6-1, showcasing many of baseball's top up-and-coming prospects.
Now in its 27th edition, the Futures Game featured some of the highest-rated young talent from across Major League Baseball organizations, with prospects split between the American League and National League.
The event has long served as a preview of baseball's next generation of stars. Alumni include Bobby Witt Jr., Julio Rodrรญguez, Mookie Betts, Corbin Carroll, Fernando Tatis Jr., and numerous other players who have gone on to become impact performers in the major leagues.
Here's a look at some of MLB's brightest future stars who took center stage in this year's Futures Game.

The American League Futures team struck first in the opening inning when Franklin Arias grounded out to bring home Leo De Vries for a 1-0 lead.
The National League Futures team answered in the bottom of the third. Jesus Made drove in Edward Florentino with a groundout while advancing Roldy Brito to second, evening the score at 1-1.
The ALF nearly reclaimed the lead in the fifth, but Walker Jenkins was thrown out attempting to steal third by pitcher Luis Peรฑa. The missed opportunity proved only a brief setback.
Moments later, Theo Gillen delivered an RBI single to put the ALF back in front. A throwing error from left field allowed Gillen to advance to third as the ALF took a 2-1 advantage.
The NLF struggled to generate offense the rest of the way, and the ALF broke the game open in the sixth.
All-Star Futures Game MVP Nathan Flewelling delivered the decisive blow in the sixth inning, launching a 365-foot, two-run home run to extend the American League's lead to 4-1 and seize control of the game.
The ALF added two insurance runs in the seventh to put the game out of reach. JoJo Parker ripped an RBI double to score Kevin Alvarez and extend the lead to 5-1 before Ralphy Velazquez followed with an RBI single, bringing Parker home to cap the scoring and give the ALF a commanding 6-1 advantage that would hold for the victory.
All-Star Week continues Sunday with the MLB x All-Star 3-on-3 game, scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. ET.
