Haeran Ryu Wins Playoff, Final LPGA Leaderboard Scores & Prize Money Payouts for Evian Championship

Just two weeks after capturing her first career major title, Haeran Ryu has already added a second to her collection with a victory in the Evian Championship.

Ryu defeated Brooke Henderson with a birdie on the first playoff hole in the final round on Sunday to earn the win.

Ryu held on for the win despite final-round surge from Henderson, who was eight shots off the lead after Saturday.

"Before these three weeks, I didn't have a major championship — now two in a row," Ryu said after the round. "I am so happy, I can't believe it."

Henderson closed the gap by shooting a 64 on Sunday, tied with Lydia Ko for the lowest score of the round. She forced a playoff with an eagle on the 18th hole.

It was her third eagle of the day, which also included an ace on the par-three eighth hole.

The playoff started on the 18th hole, but Henderson couldn't repeat her effort from the end of regulation. She pulled the drive into the rough and had to lay up from there in order to save par.

Ryu, who set an LGPA-major record with a 60 on Saturday, finished with an even-par 71 in the final round. She was in danger of blowing an eight-shot lead at the start of the day, needing to make a birdie on 18 to at least ensure a playoff.

This marks the second time in 2026 that a player has won back-to-back majors on the LPGA Tour. Nelly Korda started the year by capturing the Chevron Championship and U.S. Women's Open.

Ryu will go for three in a row at the Women's Open Championship starting on July 30. The last player to win three consecutive majors was Inbee Park in 2013.
