How Sophie Cunningham Became UFC Ring Girl Revealed by Dana White After McGregor-Holloway Card

Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham's appearance at UFC 329 was largely a spontaneous decision.

In his post-fight press conference, UFC president Dana White told reporters he decided to have Cunningham be a ring girl "about eight minutes before she did it" (11:35 mark).

White said the WNBA veteran was already on hand for the show and indicated when she arrived she wanted to walk around the cage.

The arrangements were quickly made for Cunningham to feature ahead of Paddy Pimblett's first-round submission of Benoît Saint Denis.
