WWE's Logan Paul Trolls 'Washed' Conor McGregor and Reveals How Much Money He Won on Holloway Fight
WWE Superstar and YouTuber Logan Paul reveled in Conor McGregor's quick loss to Max Holloway at UFC 329 on Saturday night.
In a video posted on Instagram, Paul expressed his belief that McGregor looked "slow" and "lazy," and then when the fight was called one minute and nine seconds into the first round, Paul called McGregor "washed up" and "pathetic."
In a subsequent post on X, Paul revealed that he won over $28,000 by betting on Holloway to win the fight:
McGregor was fighting for the first time in five years, but he appeared to injure his knee on the first kick he attempted. Although he tried to continue, the referee ultimately made the call to end the fight in favor of Holloway.
Following the event, UFC President Dana White told reporters that it is believed McGregor suffered a torn ACL, saying, "We're assuming a blown ACL. I'm no doctor, but that's what I figured when I saw it, and doctors think the same thing too."
It marks the second consecutive McGregor bout that ended early due to injury, as his UFC 264 clash with Dustin Poirier in July 2021 was stopped by the ringside doctor after McGregor broke his leg.
The 37-year-old Irishman has now lost four of his past five fights, calling his UFC future into question.
Amid his criticism of McGregor, Paul proposed an idea, saying, "When you're done with whatever this is, Conor, we should box, bro. You might have a better chance."
Paul's idea is an intriguing one since both he and McGregor have a bit of boxing experience.
While Logan's brother, Jake Paul, is the big-time boxer in the family with a career record of 12-2, Logan has fought multiple times as well, primarily in exhibitions.
Most notably, Logan went the distance with legendary, undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather in an eight-round, non-scored exhibition in 2021.
McGregor also famously fought Mayweather, but their bout was an official one back in 2017.
Although he acquitted himself well in what was his first-ever professional boxing fight, McGregor ultimately fell to Mayweather by 10th-round technical knockout.
It is unclear if McGregor would have any interest in boxing Paul when he is healthy enough to do so, but it is safe to assume they would be capable of putting on a lucrative event together.
