Paige Bueckers, Wings vs. Tempo Sets WNBA Single-Game Attendance Record, How Many Fans Went to Game?

Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings made history during a Friday night road win against the Toronto Tempo.

A WNBA regular-season record 20,966 fans were in attendance to watch Bueckers and the Wings claim a 108-95 win over the Tempo at the Bell Centre.

The previous WNBA regular-season record of 20,711 fans was set at Capital One Arena as Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever played the Washington Mystics on Sept. 19, 2024.

The all-time record for a professional women's basketball regular-season game still stands at 21,490 following an Unrivaled game on Jan. 30 in Philadelphia.

The WNBA attendance record of 22,076 fans was last recorded during the 2007 Finals between the Phoenix Mercury and Detroit Shock in Detroit.

The league could hope to update those numbers in the near future after the 2025 campaign saw the WNBA break its total attendance record for a full season.

Bueckers, the top pick of the 2025 WNBA draft, and Marina Mabrey, the sixth pick of the 2026 expansion draft, led their teams Friday with 34 points apiece. Jessica Shepard contributed 20 points and 17 rebounds in the Wings' victory.

After going 4-for-4 on their recent road trip, the Wings have improved to 15-8 to get within 1.5 games of the Minnesota Lynx and Golden State Valkyries in the race to the top of the Western Conference.
