The 54-hole event uses a modified Stableford scoring system.
A score of three-under-par is worth 10 points, while a hole-in-one results in eight points. An eagle is worth six points, a birdie is three points, a par is one point and a bogey leads to zero points.
If participants record a double-bogey or worse, a two-point subtraction is utilized.
Pavelski will be looking to move one step closer to capturing his second consecutive American Century Championship title while Curry will attempt to climb further up the leaderboard during Saturday's second round.
