No. 2 Alexander Zverev def. Arthur Fery, 7-6 (0), 6-2, 6-4
Alexander Zverev continued his impressive run at Wimbledon with a straight-sets victory over world No. 114 Arthur Fery, earning a place in his second consecutive major final.
Although Zverev struggled at the start, making 18 unforced errors in the opening set, he quickly regained control by dominating the first-set tiebreak 7-0.
This proved to be a turning point for the rest of the match.
The No. 2 seed found his rhythm, playing aggressively and overpowering the 5'9" Brit with his powerful forehand and blistering serve.
Zverev attacked Fery's second serve, which was nearly as fast as his own first serve.
In the third set, Zverev dropped just two service points and committed only four unforced errors.
The win marks a breakthrough for the 2026 French Open champion, who had never reached a Wimbledon quarterfinal before this year.
On Sunday, Zverev will face either Jannik Sinner or Novak Djokovic as he aims to become the seventh player in the Open Era (since 1968) to achieve the "Channel Slam."
