Angel Reese helped the Atlanta Dream secure an 89-78 win over Flau'jae Johnson and the Seattle Storm at Gateway Center Arena on Thursday night.

Reese recorded her 15th double-double of the season by scoring 18 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. She also recorded two assists and two steals, shooting 7-of-15 from the field.
Johnson has put together an encouraging rookie season for Seattle, although she struggled with her jumper on Thursday. She scored 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting, but missed all three of her attempts from behind the arc.
Still, Johnson racked up a team-high five assists to go along with two rebounds and two steals.
While the Dream only led 18-17 with just over three minutes left in the first quarter, they closed the period on an 11-2 run to gain more separation heading into the second.
Atlanta outscored Seattle 26-19 in the second quarter to take a 55-38 lead at halftime.
The Dream extended their advantage to 20 points midway through the third quarter, although the Storm cut the deficit to 84-76 with under three minutes remaining in the fourth.
Atlanta quickly scored five straight points to extinguish Seattle's hopes of a comeback victory, though.
The Dream improved to 13-9 with the win, while the Storm fell to 6-18.
