Seahawks HC Says Person With 'Conflict of Interest' Gave Advice Prior to Super Bowl vs. Patriots
The Seattle Seahawks apparently had some interesting help ahead of their Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots.
"Probably can't mention one guy that really helped us out that had some conflict of interest," head coach Mike Macdonald said while laughing during a Thursday appearance on The Dan Patrick Show.
He did imply it wasn't Bill Belichick or Kyle Shanahan and wasn't willing to reveal who he was talking about with his cryptic comment.

The advice clearly worked.
Seattle steamrolled New England on the way to a 29-13 victory that wasn't even as close as the final score indicated. After all, the NFC representative didn't give up a point until the fourth quarter and held a 29-7 advantage with fewer than three minutes remaining.
The Seahawks sacked Drake Maye six times and picked him off twice, with Uchenna Nwosu returning one of the interceptions for a touchdown in the fourth quarter as the game got even more out of hand.
Notably, Seahawks cornerback told SiriusXM NFL Radio after the win "we had a tell on their guards and tackles."
He added, "I knew what was going on. We had a good tell on what they like to do and how they like to play and how they were going to attack us. Coach put us in the best position to win. That's our coach right there, that's why we always stand beside him and always have his back."
It's safe to say the Seahawks were well prepared.
