Fernando Mendoza Reveals His Mount Rushmore of NFL QBs Ahead of Rookie Season with Raiders
If Fernando Mendoza lives up to expectations as the No. 1 overall pick of the 2026 NFL draft, perhaps he will one day be remembered as a Las Vegas Raiders great.
For now, though, fans will have to settle for his own list of quarterback greats.
Mendoza was asked to name his Mt. Rushmore of quarterbacks during an appearance on The Rush With Maxx Crosby (45-minute mark) and listed Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino and Aaron Rodgers.

Re-Grading Biggest Trades, FA Signings of 2026 NFL Offseason
The selection of Brady comes as no surprise considering he is widely considered the greatest of all-time, but his involvement with the Raiders is also notable. The legend is a minority owner of the team and will surely help Mendoza as the rookie begins his NFL career.
"Being involved with the Raiders, his involvement's been awesome," Mendoza said of Brady. "… Really appreciate him, looked up to him as a kid and now being in the same organization as him has been special."
He also explained he felt obligated to choose Marino as someone who is from Miami and gave a shout out to his old school in Cal when selecting Rodgers.
Notably, Mendoza also said Tim Tebow would be his pick for college football and said the Florida Gators icon is the reason he wears No. 15.
Las Vegas surely hopes Mendoza finds himself on one of these lists in the future after taking him with the first pick. All he did in his final collegiate season was lead Indiana to an undefeated record and the College Football Playoff national championship while taking home the Heisman Trophy.
Indiana has historically struggled, so he may be the ideal quarterback to help turn things around for a Raiders team that hasn't won a playoff game since the 2002 campaign.
Quickly turning around the Raiders would be an ideal way to start his climb to Mt. Rushmore lists one day.
