Simone Biles Claps Back at Fan for Questioning Her Attending Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce's Wedding

Legendary gymnast Simone Biles isn't concerned with what fans think of her friendship with pop star Taylor Swift.

After Biles shared photos on Instagram of her attending Swift's wedding to Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce with her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens, a fan commented, "When has Simone Biles and Taylor Swift even spoken to each other?😂"

Per People's Ingrid Vasquez, Biles didn't let the quip go unanswered, responding, "Remember this, I only show y'all what I want y'all to know."

Biles and Swift's friendship dates back many years. The 11-time Olympic medalist used Swift's song "Ready For It' during part of her floor routine in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials, prompting a response from the 14-time Grammy Award winner.

Swift also narrated a video about Biles for NBC's coverage of the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, which Biles said made her emotional:

"What do we want from our heroes?" Swift said in the video. "What do we expect from them? What do we need from them? What happens when they surprise us? When you have the attention of the world, everything you do takes on a bigger meaning. It can be a heavy burden. It can be a chance to change everything."

It's clear that Biles and Swift's relationship is nothing for fans to question, and Biles was more than happy to support her friend on her wedding day.
