Veteran wide receiver A.J. Brown has a new team and now he has a new spot in NFL Network's annual ranking of the Top 100 players.
Brown was revealed Monday to be No. 80, a sizable drop from 29th last summer:
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, meanwhile, will celebrate what's surely his biggest personal achievement in recent days. He followed Brown in 79th:

Brown's fall isn't surprising as he had his worst season in a Philadelphia Eagles uniform in 2025. He caught 78 passes for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns, his 12.9 yards per reception hitting a career low.
While the 29-year-old wasn't an openly disruptive presence, it became clear he was frustrated with his production and on-field usage. One ESPN report honed in on a "perceived reluctance to target Brown on tight-window throws against zone coverage" from Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Now that Brown is on the New England Patriots, he has an opportunity to prove he remains an elite wideout and isn't in the midst of any age-related decline. Drake Maye, who led the NFL in passing yards per attempt (8.9), should be better suited than Hurts to utilize his full downfield potential.
A longstanding critique of Hurts is that he's not a prolific passer who single-handedly wins games with his arm in the way a Patrick Mahomes or Matthew Stafford does. Brown's general sentiment summed up what many of Hurts' skeptics have expressed before.
Should his performance fail to rebound in New England, however, he can expect to catch a lot of heat himself.
This is Kelce's 11th year on the Top 100 and his lowest position since he debuted at No. 91 in 2016.
The 36-year-old has started to increasingly show his age. After eclipsing 1,000 yards receiving for seven straight seasons, a record for a tight end, he has failed to hit that number in three successive campaigns.
In 2025, Kelce had 76 receptions for 851 yards and five touchdowns. He continues to be a consistent option, but the speed and agility simply aren't what they once were.
Especially after the Chiefs finished 6-11 and missed the playoffs, some wondered whether retirement was a real possibility for the Hall of Fame-bound star. He has already achieved everything he can on the field, and he's set up perfectly to transition to a second career once he's done playing football.
Instead, Kelce signed on for at least one more season, setting him up for a possible NFL swan song.
