NASCAR In-Season Tournament Bracket 2026 Updated Point Standings After Chicago

Chase Briscoe fended off a late push from Christopher Bell to win the eero 400 at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday.

Briscoe and Bell were two of eight drivers that advanced into the quarterfinal round of the NASCAR In-Season Challenge.

The win was the first of the 2026 season for Briscoe. He became the 11th different winner in the Cup Series this season.

Briscoe was in the mix for the win for most of the night. He came in second and fifth at the two stage breaks.

William Byron captured the two stage victories, but he couldn't complete the sweep and ended up in fourth.

Briscoe held off a furious push from Christopher Bell on the final few laps to secure the win.

Bell closed within a second of the No. 19 car, but he was unable to make the final move for the victory.

Briscoe, Bell and third-place finisher Denny Hamlin headlined a strong night for Toyota, as the manufacturer put seven cars inside the top 10.

Briscoe and Bell were also part of a group of five lower-seeded drivers to advance in the In-Season Challenge.

Alex Bowman, who entered the in-season competition as the No. 32 seed, moved on for the second straight week. Todd Gilliland and Byron also pulled off upsets along with Bowman, Bell and Briscoe.

The quarterfinals of the In-Season Challenge will take place inside next week's race in Atlanta.

Bowman and Gilliland, the No. 32 and No. 25 seeds, are paired together in a matchup.

Briscoe will go head-to-head with Chase Elliott, Hamlin squares off with Bell and Byron matches up with Ryan Blaney.

Briscoe produced the best finish of the remaining In-Season Challenge contenders in the February race in Atlanta. He took second behind Tyler Reddick.

The In-Season Challenge goes on for three more races. The winner will be determined on July 26 in Indianapolis.
