MLB's Rangers Share Video of World's Largest Glass of Beer Setting New Record on July 4

The Texas Rangers celebrated the Fourth of July by setting a Guinness World Record for the largest glass of beer in recorded history.

The Rangers poured 2,415 liters (638 gallons) of Budweiser into a 12-foot-tall stein at Globe Life Field to officially break the world record.

The stein was filled from the bottom in a process expected to take about one hour and 45 minutes, according to the club.

The previous world record for the largest glass of beer was set at 550 gallons in the United Kingdom in 2014.

The historic beer pour took place ahead of the Rangers' Independence Day matchup against the Detroit Tigers. First pitch is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET.
