Max Holloway Teases Conor McGregor Trilogy Fight at NFL Stadium Ahead of UFC 329
Max Holloway hinted at a third fight with Conor McGregor taking place at Allegiant Stadium following their upcoming clash at UFC 329.
"He was talking about some contract stuff, how he doesn't want to wait a year [to fight again]," Holloway said, per ESPN's Brett Okamoto. "I told him, 'Don't need to worry, bro. I got you.' I go out there and get my hand raised in some crazy fashion, poke the bear a little bit more [with McGregor], poke [UFC CEO] Dana White, and we do Allegiant Stadium in December."
The looming bout between Holloway and McGregor at T-Mobile Arena was announced on May 16, representing a rematch of their UFC Fight Night battle in Aug. 2013.
McGregor, who picked up a unanimous decision win in the initial fight, will be making his return to the Octagon for the first time since July 2021.
He previously revealed that he's also scheduled to fight in April 2027 after facing Holloway again, but wanted the next bout to take place at an earlier date.
"I have both dates for my fights," McGregor told Uncrowned on June 16, via Okamoto. "I have July 11, and when would you think they put me back in? April 2027. It's almost a year later. That's ridiculous to me. But this is the way the contract was done. I have a second date in April 2027."
Holloway is interested in helping McGregor secure a fight before 2027 at Allegiant Stadium, which is typically home to the Las Vegas Raiders and contains a capacity of 65,000.
