New NFL Mock Draft with Every Player Available in 2026 Drops from Chad Reuter, Who Is No. 1?
The start of the 2026 NFL season is still a couple of months away, and one expert conducted an interesting draft experiment.
Chad Reuter of NFL.com re-imagined the talent distribution across the league by compiling his fifth annual mock draft featuring every player available. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen went first overall over Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and Los Angeles Rams signal-caller and 2025 NFL MVP Matthew Stafford.
The full top 10 from Reuter's mock draft is as follows:

"The Raiders tab Allen as the No. 1 overall pick, hoping the 2024 NFL MVP's skill set can lead them to their first title in over 40 years," Reuter wrote.
Allen had another strong year in 2025, completing a career-high 69.3 percent of his passes for 3,668 yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also added 579 rushing yards and 14 more scores on the ground.
Interestingly, Reuter projected a quarterback to be selected with the first 12 picks before slotting Rams star edge rusher Myles Garrett to the Atlanta Falcons at No. 13. Out of the 32 picks in the first round, 14 were non-QBs.
NFL training camps are set to begin later this month as teams prepare to chase a Super Bowl title during the 2026 campaign.
