WWE Stars Ready for a Massive Push

Donald WoodJul 5, 2026

Coming out of WrestleMania 42, the WWE Universe expected the company to carry that momentum into the rest of 2026, but Triple H and the creative team have dropped the ball, killing much of the goodwill earned during the Road to WrestleMania.

Luckily, there are still several Superstars who have shone through the darkness and deserve a massive push for keeping Raw and SmackDown exciting each week with their creativity and organic appeal to wrestling fans.

Here are the Superstars who have earned a massive push for the rest of the year.

Bron Breakker

There are few performers who deserve a push to the main event/ championship scene more than Bron Breakker.

At just 28 years old, the talented wrestler has been positioned to be a cornerstone of the company's future, but he needs to cement his place at the top of the card with an iconic moment.

Breakker is everything WWE wants in a Superstar, boasting an incredible physique, elite athleticism, explosive offense, legitimate intensity, and natural Steiner charisma that doesn't feel forced.

Few wrestlers can instantly feel like a believable world champion simply by walking through the curtain, but he has all the tools to be a top guy.

And it's not like WWE hasn't given him opportunities so far, as he has already worked alongside Paul Heyman and against the likes of CM Punk and Seth Rollins. The problem is that Breakker can't look like an indestructible force if he keeps taking losses at the most important times.

With the ability to carry long singles matches, deliver memorable promos, work as both a heel and a babyface—as well as the support from the WWE Universe growing every time he takes an unjustified loss—Breakker is a legitimate Superstar who deserves to be booked at the top of the card for the rest of 2026 and beyond.

Roxanne Perez

In her short time on the main roster, Roxanne Perez has already proved she belongs in the ring with the best.

The rest of the year should be about elevating her from one of the women's division's brightest young stars into a legitimate championship centerpiece.

At just 24 years old, Perez already has all the tools to become a main event player, including stellar storytelling, elite in-ring work, natural charisma and the ability to shine in both heel and babyface roles.

With the confidence and polish more likely to be seen in veteran wrestlers, it's her ability to adapt to any situation that stands out the most.

After putting on compelling matches with powerhouse wrestlers, technical specialists, and high-flyers, The Prodigy has shown that no moment is too big for her.

Add in the genuine support she already receives from the WWE Universe, and Perez should be booked as a cornerstone of the future that begins her rise to the top of the card throughout the rest of 2026.

Carmelo Hayes

Just like Breakker and Perez, Carmelo Hayes came to the WWE main roster after a successful NXT run, but his transition was filled with poor booking and lackluster character development.

SmackDown

For one of the highlights of NXT to be so mistreated was a travesty, but Hayes has turned a corner in recent months.

The 31-year-old has shown with every opportunity that he has all the tools to become one of the company's biggest stars, but it's time for Triple H and WWE Creative to elevate him from a future cornerstone to a bona fide main event-worthy Superstar who should be hovering around the world title picture.

As one of WWE's best all-around performers, Hayes has used his athleticism, in-ring storytelling and confidence on the mic to showcase his worth, despite his segments feeling thrown together at the last minute. That's not his problem; that's a creative issue plaguing much of the main roster right now.

During his run with the United States Championship—one that was full of porous booking decisions—Hayes rose above the issues and showed he could carry a title with confidence and poise. He defended it against a variety of opponents while establishing himself as one of SmackDown's most reliable performers.

Hayes deserves a push to the top of the card as soon as possible.
