Brock Purdy, Tuli Tuipulotu Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Tuli Tuipulotu have joined the NFL Top 100 list entering the 2026 season.
Purdy returns to the list for the first time since 2024, coming in at No. 85 overall. Tuipulotu (No. 86 overall) is the sixth linebacker on the list and first Chargers player in the NFL Top 100 this year.
Here is how the top 100 ranking looks so far with the first 16 players unveiled.
NFL Network Top 100 for 2026
100. New Orleans Saints DE Cameron Jordan
99. Indianapolis Colts OG Quenton Nelson
98. Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young
97. Seattle Seahawks LB Ernest Jones IV
96. New Orleans Saints RB Travis Etienne Jr.

88. Detroit Lions LB Jack Campbell
87. Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan
86. Los Angeles Chargers LB Tuli Tuipulotu
85. San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy
Purdy becomes the second quarterback on the list after Bryce Young at No. 98. He previously appeared on the list in 2024 at No. 28 overall after helping the 49ers reach the Super Bowl in his first full year as the starter.
The fact that Purdy made the list again this year despite injuries limiting him to nine starts in 2025 shows how much respect he has earned. It doesn't hurt that he played arguably the best football of his career given the volume of injury issues San Francisco dealt with last season.
Purdy threw for 2,167 yards, 20 touchdowns and completed 69.4 percent of his attempts. His 72.8 QBR ranked second in the NFL, behind only MVP runner-up Drake Maye.
The 49ers went 7-2 in Purdy's nine starts and knocked off the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card round.
A second-round pick by the Chargers in the 2023 draft, Tuipulotu had a promising rookie season and has really taken off since Jim Harbaugh became the head coach in Los Angeles.
Tuipulotu became a full-time starter last season, appearing in 16 games. He set career-highs with 23 quarterback hits, 20 tackles for loss and 13 sacks.
The USC alum led the Chargers in all three categories. He was one of only three players in the NFL last season with at least 20 tackles for loss and 13 sacks, along with Myles Garrett and Brian Burns.
He also recorded his first career playoff sack last season against the New England Patriots in the AFC Wild Card round.
Tuipulotu has emerged as a foundation player for a Chargers defense that ranked fifth in yards allowed and ninth in points allowed during the 2025 campaign.
The Chargers have made the playoffs in each of the last two years thanks largely to the strength of their defense. Tuipulotu is the star of the group and will be a big reason for their optimism going into the 2026 season.
