Shohei Ohtani's 2018 Topps Chrome SuperFractor rookie card sold for $2.5 million at auction on Sunday, per Goldin.

Goldin described the card as "perhaps the finest and most iconic rookie card of the 21st century and a vital celebration of the most unique athlete in professional sports. Los Angeles Dodgers phenomenon Shohei Ohtani is the star of this sterling, "1/1" Topps Chrome SuperFractor MLB debut-year collectible."

And somebody payed quite a pretty penny to acquire it. It probably wasn't Dalton Rushing.
