Lynx's Cheryl Reeve Makes WNBA History With Win vs. Wings, Whose Record Did She Tie?

Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve tied Mike Thibault for the WNBA's all-time record for regular-season wins following her team's 85-77 victory over the Dallas Wings on Sunday.

It was Reeve's 379th win in the regular season as a head coach and came one day after she was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. She already holds the WNBA record for playoff wins as a head coach (52).

Reeve, 59, has won four titles with Minnesota and also coached Team USA women's basketball to a gold medal in 2024. Since taking over as Lynx head coach in 2010, she's only missed the playoffs twice.

Suffice to say, she's the golden standard when it comes to WNBA head coaches.
