Watch Paige Bueckers-Olivia Miles Heated Exchange in Video During Lynx vs. Wings

Things got chippy between two of the league's rising stars on Sunday.

After some back and forth between the Minnesota Lynx and Dallas Wings, Paige Bueckers confronted rookie standout Olivia Miles, and it led to a heated exchange.

That kind of interaction isn't too surprising given the competitive nature of both Bueckers and Miles. The two are also very familiar with one another, having faced off a few times during their collegiate days.

Whether a rivalry between Bueckers and Miles is forming is unclear, but the two are likely going to be among the league's best for years to come.

Bueckers, the reigning Rookie of the Year, is putting up 19.6 points and 6.1 assists per game in just her second season. Miles, the second overall pick in this year's draft, is well on her way to winning Rookie of the Year this season, putting up 18.6 points, 5.6 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game.

Despite her rookie status, Miles leads the Lynx in both scoring and assists on a veteran roster that features players like Natasha Howard and Courtney Williams.

Bueckers' Wings have enjoyed a solid turnaround this season, starting the year 11-7 after going 10-34 last year. Miles and the Lynx are 14-4, sitting atop the WNBA standings.

The two squads will face off one more time this season and could very well see one another in the playoffs, so the matchup between Bueckers and Miles will be one to watch moving forward.
