'Rain Delay' Jerseys Unveiled by Blue Jays' MiLB Affiliate in Photos to Honor Florida Weather Chaos
The Dunedin Blue Jays, the Single-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, unveiled new jerseys with a unique concept on Thursday.
Dunedin showcased its "Rain Delay Jerseys" in a post on X, featuring a weather radar design inspired by the 24 weather delays and 10 postponements to go along with six cancellations that the team experienced in 2025.
The uniforms will be worn during a matchup with the Clearwater Threshers on July 18.
The Dunedin Blue Jays have continued to navigate through rainy conditions while playing in the Florida State League this season, as the team's Opening Day clash with the Bradenton Marauders was postponed due to inclement weather on April 2.
Another game against the Ft. Myers Mighty Mussels was also postponed because of weather-related reasons on May 19.
While a large amount of delays and postponements can be a challenge, Dunedin is choosing to commemorate the constant rainy conditions.
The Blue Jays sit at No. 5 in the Florida State League West standings with a 32-38 record in 2026.
