Sparks' Cameron Brink Shares IG Photo of Gruesome Ankle Sprain, Latest Timeline Update for Injury

Los Angeles Sparks star Cameron Brink suffered a nasty ankle sprain last week that is expected to keep her out of action at least two weeks.

Sparks head coach Lynne Roberts provided the latest update on Thursday, saying she will be reevaluated after that time.

"It's a good ankle sprain," Roberts told reporters last week. "I don't anticipate her being back in the short [term]."

Brink, 24, was averaging 9.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 17.5 minutes per game this season, making 14 appearances. She's only played in 48 games during her WNBA career after suffering a torn ACL during her rookie season.

The Sparks are 8-8 this season.
