Demario Davis, Travis Etienne Jr. Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings
New York Jets linebacker Demario Davis and New Orleans Saints running back Travis Etienne Jr. were revealed as the next two members of the NFL Network's Top 100 on Wednesday at Nos. 95 and 96, respectively.
Here's a look at the list so far.
NFL Network Top 100
100. New Orleans Saints DE Cameron Jordan
99. Indianapolis Colts OG Quenton Nelson
98. Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young
97. Seattle Seahawks LB Ernest Jones IV
96. New Orleans Saints RB Travis Etienne Jr.
95. New York Jets LB Demario Davis
The 37-year-old Davis, who has played 14 NFL seasons, made a career-high 143 tackles last season over 17 starts for the Saints last year. He is now back with the New York Jets, who he played with for five seasons (2012-2015, 2017), on a two-year, $22 million contract.
Davis made the NFL Network Top 100 each year from 2020-2024. He made the First Team All-Pro in 2019 and Second Team All-Pro each season from 2020-2023.
Etienne played his first four NFL seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars before signing a four-year, $47 million contract with the Saints this offseason.
Last season, Etienne helped the Jags go 13-4 and win the AFC South. He rushed for 1,107 yards and seven touchdowns on 260 carries (4.3 yards per carry) while catching 36 passes for 292 yards and six more scores. All told, he amassed 1,399 yards from scrimmage and 13 touchdowns. And with that, Etienne made the list for the first time in his career.
The NFL Network Top 100 is based off player votes, as noted by Jayna Bardahl of The Athletic.
Players receive a ballot in which they are asked to list the NFL's top 20 players, in order.
The players who get votes then receive points based on where they are ranked. For example, a No. 1 vote gets 20 points, a No. 2 vote gets 19 points and so forth.
The series has been going on since 2011, when then-New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady finished first overall. Brady was named No. 1 four times during his career: 2011, 2017, 2018 and 2022.
