'That Pisses Me Off,' Yankees' Boone Calls Out Jazz Chisholm Jr. for Playing With Lollipop in Mouth
New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone didn't hold back after Jazz Chisholm Jr. was seen enjoying a lollipop while playing the field during Monday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Appearing on Talkin' Yanks, Boone explained "that pisses me off" when asked about Chisholm eating a lollipop during a game.

Boone noted he wasn't aware of it until after the game, but he had a discussion with Chisholm about it. He was also made aware by the hosts that this was the second time Chisholm has eaten a lollipop during a game this season.
The first time it occurred was on April 23 against the Boston Red Sox when Chisholm had a lollipop in his mouth during an at-bat.
There are no official rules about eating a lollipop, though there is the risk of something going wrong if the ball had been hit in Chisholm's direction. He didn't face any defensive chances in the bottom of the fifth when the lollipop was being eaten.
One reason that Boone may have been outraged is because the Yankees were defeated by the Tigers 5-3. It was their third straight loss and fourth in the last five games.
The Yankees' lead over the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL East is down to two games entering play on Tuesday. They will look to get back on track on Tuesday with Rodón taking the mound against Tigers right-hander Casey Mize.
