Yankees' Cam Schlittler Calls Out Red Sox Fan's DMs in Video After 13-Strikeout Game, 'Rent Free'
After striking out a career-high 13 batters over six shutout innings in Friday's win over the Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees star Cam Schlittler called out a Boston Red Sox fan who has been nagging him on social media.
Schlittler posted a story on his Instagram page with a series of DMs from the Red Sox fan and captioned it "rent free" with two crying laughing emojis.

MLB Divorces That Need to Happen 💔

Miz Makes More MLB History
Times are tough right now for the Red Sox, who enter play on Saturday with the third-worst record in MLB at 30-43. They have lost eight of their last 11 games, though they did at least end a four-game losing skid on Friday with a win over the Seattle Mariners.
The Yankees, on the other hand, are thriving right now with an AL-best 46-28 record.
They are succeeding despite Aaron Judge not playing since May 31 due to a stress fracture in his rib. Giancarlo Stanton, Max Fried and Trent Grisham are also on the injured list right now.
One big reason the Yankees have managed to avoid falling apart without all of that talent is because Schlittler has transformed into a Cy Young frontrunner in the AL.
Schlittler leads the American League with a 1.71 ERA and 95.0 innings pitched. His 13 strikeouts on Friday night marked his first game with double-digit punchouts.
The right-hander had his first scoreless outing since May 9 against the New York Mets. He has allowed one run or fewer in 11 of his 16 starts.
When you add it all together, it's no wonder that Red Sox fans are having meltdowns and Schlittler can claim to be living in their heads rent free.
