WWE Monday Night RAW Preview: Countdown To "The Stand"
Monday Night RAW heads to the Rocky Mountains of Denver, Colorado, just six days before the Night of Extreme: One Night Stand.
Last week on RAW, four blockbuster match-ups were announced for the upcoming PPV.
Randy Orton and John Bradshaw Layfield earned rematches against their Judgment Day opponents, Triple H and John Cena. Not only that, but they also chose the stipulation that they wanted.
โThe Wrestling Godโ JBL wants to punish John Cena, and at One Night Stand, heโll get a chance to do so in his match of choice...FIRST BLOOD!
Randy Orton gets another shot at the WWE Champion Triple H when he faces โThe Gameโ in the match he choseโฆLAST MAN STANDING! Will the Age of Orton resume at One Night Stand, or will โThe King of Kingsโ continue his reign?
Tension will be high for these four competitors. Whatโs in store tonight on RAW? Who will get the much needed momentum?
Also announced last week, Jeff Hardy will face Umaga once again, but this time in a Falls Count Anywhere match at One Night Stand. Will โThe Samoan Bulldozerโ get his hands on Hardy before the match?
Finally, Batista earned his match at One Night Stand against Shawn Michaels, in a Stretcher Match! You better believe Batista will show no mercy against Michaels, who faked an injury against him at Backlash. Will these two men have one last face to face encounter before their match? No doubt harsh words will be said.
In other shocking developments, last week Mr. Kennedy defeated the King of The Ring winner, and now-former RAW GM William Regal in a โLoser Gets Firedโ match. One day later, wrestling fans learned about Regalโs 60 day suspension. What does this mean for RAW? Who will be the new RAW GM? It is expected that a major announcement will be made on RAW tonightโฆ
All this and more when you tune in to Monday Night RAW. The countdown to "The Stand" is on. ย ย
