A strong first half from Caitlin Clark wasn't enough to carry the Indiana Fever to Thursday night victory over Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream.
Reese led her team with 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Dream held off a late push from the Fever to claim an 108-101 win at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Clark Debuts Signature Kicks
The Fever held an early lead in part thanks to Clark's seven first-quarter points, although strong start from Reese helped the Dream keep the score close.
Isobel Borlase and Jordin Canada helped the Dream close out the second quarter on a 15-7 run that put the visitors in the lead heading into the break.
Clark went into halftime having put up 17 points on 60 percent shooting from the field through two quarters.
Reese helped the Dream hold onto their lead in the third quarter before the Fever started to push back in the fourth.
Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell led a late surge for Indiana before Sophie Cunningham tied the game at 93 with just over five minutes left in the fourth quarter.
The Dream ended the Fever's hopes of a comeback by closing out the win with a 15-8 stretch capped off by a late and-1 from Reese.
All five Dream starters recorded at least 16 points, while the Fever's trio of Clark, Mitchell and Boston combined for a total of 75 points.
The Dream improved to 10-4 with the victory while the Fever dropped to 9-6 after the loss.
Clark and the Fever have one day off to bounce back before these two teams reunite for a rematch on Saturday afternoon in Atlanta.
