How Many Fans Watched UFC Freedom 250 at White House? Full Ratings Info for Historic Event

UFC went all out with its Freedom 250 event at the White House, and it led to historic ratings.

In a press release, UFC announced that the event was the most-watched live event ever on Paramount+, beating the previous record that was held by UFC 324 in January. Sunday's event streamed exclusively on Paramount+.

The event drew 17 million total viewers in the United States and Latin America. It averaged 8.2 million viewers across the seven bouts. All seven bouts ended with a KO or TKO, which was also a first for UFC.

The night ended with Justin Gaethje's upset win over Ilia Topuria to claim the undisputed lightweight title.

In its press release, UFC said that viewership numbers from outside of the U.S. and Latin America will be released next week.

Aside from Paramount's numbers, it was also the No. 1 social event across broadcast, cable and streaming. It drew 27 trending topics on X (formerly Twitter) and was in the No. 1 trending spot worldwide for 10 hours.

Across the street from the White House at The Ellipse, UFC's Fan Fest garnered more than 130,000 people over the course of two days. There was a watch party at The Ellipse on Sunday night.

Paramount and TKO Group, which owns UFC, struck a seven-year deal with UFC in August that has an average annual value of $1.1 billion.

"This deal puts UFC amongst the biggest sports in the world," UFC CEO Dana White said of the deal. "The exposure provided by the Paramount and CBS networks under this new structure is a huge win for our athletes and anyone who watches and loves this sport."

Freedom 250 was the sixth marquee event of the deal, which includes 13 numbered events and 30 fight nights over the course of seven years.
